Embark Career was founded in 2023 by Sarah Leibrandt, Ph.D., after seeing that there is a need for affordable career coaching services that create networks for individuals embarking on similar chapters in their careers. The job search process can feel overwhelming, frustrating, and lonely. But it doesn’t have to be that way. At Embark Career, individuals participate in a cohort-based program to gain confidence and tools to successfully navigate the job search process. You join a network and positive community and get accountability and forward momentum when you work with Embark Career.

Embark Career offers cohort-based career coaching for:

• parents returning to the paid workforce after an extended time away

• individuals needing to find a higher paying job after a divorce or separation 

• recent college graduates navigating their first or second job out of college

• career professionals over the age of 55 who are looking to make a career change

• aspiring or first time managers

Over the course of ten weeks, participants in Embark Career's signature coaching programs meet virtually every other week for one hour at a time. Participants will  cover topics such as creating a personal brand, networking and conducting informational interviews, writing resumes and cover letters that make it past automatic resume readers, nailing the interview process, and negotiating the offer.
